The Chamber Orchestra of Europe was founded in 1981 by a group of young musicians graduating from the then European Community Youth Orchestra - today, the EUYO.

A pan-European federation of heritage NGOs widely supported by public and private institutions and individuals, its reach spans more than 40 countries. Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music

The EUYO has long been honoured by the support of Elżbieta Penderecka, member of the Orchestra's Advisory Council. The Orchestra has now held two residencies at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, an extraordinary building realized according to the Pendereckis' vision of a place for young musicians to mature artistically.

MOYSA – Megaro Youth Symphony Orchestra

The EUYO collaborated with MOYSA in Thessaloniki as part of the 'Earth4All' spring tour 2023. Local youth ensembles were invited to join EUYO musicians on stage as part of a side-by-side interpretation of Terry Riley's iconic 'In C'. The programme sought to emphasise participation, shared leadership and equal voices as part of its exploration of democracy and sustainability.

Radiotelevisione Italiana (RAI) is Italy's national public broadcasting corporation. In December 2017, it signed an agreement with the EUYO, the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Ferrara to support and enhance the EUYO's work in the Italian music scene.

Spira Mirabilis

Spira Mirabilis are a group of committed professional players with the aim of continuing to study music together - a 'musical laboratory'. The EUYO and Spira Mirabilis work together as part of a mentoring programme.

Stauffer Center for Strings

The EUYO has been guest of the Stauffer Center for Strings in repeated residency projects.

Following the successful December 2021 residency, culminating in an exclusive concert at Palazzo Stauffer together with Steven Isserlis, this renewed collaboration brings with it new opportunities for exchange and training at the highest artistic and educational levels.

Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (YsOU)

The EUYO supported the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine as part of its 2022 'Peace in Europe: Standing with Ukraine' concerts. Alongside fundraising to help YsOU musicians find a temporary sanctuary in Lublijana, the EUYO also supplied access to its Frontrunners online learning platform, assisting the YsOU management, and offering side-by-side performance opportunities.
