The EUYO has long been honoured by the support of Elżbieta Penderecka, member of the Orchestra's Advisory Council. Radiotelevisione Italiana (RAI) is Italy's national public broadcasting corporation. In December 2017, it signed an agreement with the EUYO, the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Ferrara to support and enhance the EUYO's work in the Italian music scene.
